Starkey was founded in 1967 as an all-model hearing aid repair shop, based in St Louis Park, Minnesota. Since these humble beginnings, Starkey has grown into one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers.
They opened their first overseas subsidiary in Manchester in 1976, and in the next five years expanded with facilities in Canada, Germany and France. Starkey’s charitable foundation has given away over 1,000,000 hearing aids to people in need.
