Meet some of our hearing care experts

Grace Sims BSc, Audiologist and Mentor

Grace Sims completed her Bachelor of Science in Audiology at the University of Bristol and has previously worked in the ENT department at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She joined Hidden Hearing in 2014 and is an audiologist at the Cheltenham clinic. She has been a practice educator for four years and is now a Hidden Hearing mentor.

Gordon Bruce, Dispensing Audiologist

Gordon Bruce has been a qualified dispensing audiologist for over 20 years. He initially carried out domiciliary visits, and for the last ten years or so has been the lead dispensing audiologist in Hidden Hearing's Glasgow clinic, one of the busiest within Hidden Hearing's UK network. As well as helping people hear to the best possible standard, Gordon has also undertaken a variety of coaching and supervisory roles over the years, helping to develop trainees within the dispensing profession.

David Shepherd, Hearing Aid Dispenser

David Shepherd is a hearing aid dispenser who qualified through the Hearing Aid Council (HAC) in 1999. He has worked for Hidden Hearing for 18 years as a dispenser, team leader and mentor. He is currently the clinic dispenser in Hereford.

Jennie Canham, Hearing Aid Audiologist and Ceruminologist

Jennie Canham qualified in Audiology in 2003 and has been working in the private sector for over 19 years. She specialises in hearing aid rehabilitation, tinnitus therapy and is also fully qualified in both water irrigation and micro-suction. Jennie is also qualified in British Sign Language. She works in Hidden Hearing's Leigh-on-Sea hearing centre.
